Family bible camp is an annual conference held at Findley Camp and Retreat Center in Findley Lake, NY

This year’s conference features keynote speakers Bishop Mark Webb, United Theological Seminary, President Wendy Delchgmann, and bible professor Tim Dwyer. The camp charges for meals, accommodations, and waterfront activities, but all worship services and teaching sessions are free and open to the public.
The opening worship service will be held at 7 P.M. on Sunday July 20th. Commuters Welcome!

|Youth Mission U|
Join with youth from the WPA Conference to do hands-on mission work the week of July 13-17 at Grove City College. The youth will spend the mornings doing hands-on mission work at a variety of sites. |What's new at FUMC Erie?|
Prayer Shawl Ministry
The Congregational Care Committee wants to resume the Prayer Shawl Ministry. We are looking for persons who like to knit or crochet. Size 24”x36” in soft, washable yarn using any pattern. Please call Carol Wright if interested. There will be a collection basket in Fellowship Hall. The shawls will be used in visitation outreach ministry.
Unstoppable is an United Methodist Women’s event for young women (going into 9th grade through age 25) that will happen at Grove City College, July 10-13. This event is being organized and planned by young women for young women. The young women who are planning this event attended an event at Duke University called Limitless. This event comprises worship, service, and advocacy to provide learning opportunities, friendship, fun, and leadership development.
The UMW organization at FUMC is willing to help send young women to this event. These young women are learning the issues, finding their voices and changing the world. For more information, please contact our UMW.
United Methodist Women's Study Group |
The United Methodist Women's Bible Studies are continuing. Each monthly study includes prayer, reflection on Scripture and its application in our lives today. Each month's study is an independent topic and requires no advance preparation. All women of the Church are invited to attend.
